One of many sixth from social events was the lower and upper sixth pool competition, organised by Gagan Singh.

The competition took a knockout format, with a separate section for each year group. The winners in each year, upper and lower sixth, then fought it out in an overall sixth form final. Each round was played as best of 3 frames, with the winner proceeding to the next round.

The overall winner was Will Brown (U6), claiming the much desired grand prize of £10. Will Mardle took second place (L6), which boasted a £5 reward.

Other up and coming social activities for the 6th form include a shopping trip to London this Sunday, and a 5 a-side football competition, which will take a similar structure to the pool tournament.
