Year 11 pupils from other schools, including those who attended the highly successful Sixth Form Open Evening earlier this month, are invited to a Sixth Form Options Morning on Friday, December 10th.
Visiting pupils will join Colston’s Year 11 in a general introductory session in the Chatterton Hall given by the Headmaster Peter Fraser.
Subjects available to all pupils during the morning will be Art, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, English Literature, French, Geography, German, History, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Music, Philosophy, Photography, Physics, Psychology, Spanish, Sports Studies/Physical Education, Theatre Studies and the BTEC National Certificate in Sport & Exercise Science.
All pupils are given the opportunity to attend five lessons of their choice.
At the end of the morning, visitors are welcome to stay for lunch
For many the next stage will be to come along for a full Sixth Form Taster Day when they join in all timetabled activities. That can be any day they choose, though we find most prefer to wait until after their mock / trial examinations.
