3 Year 11 girls Kirsten Cree, Alex Rothwell and Maddy Thomas recently visited BBC's Casualty studio in Bristol

We arrived at the studio of casualty where the Producer talked to us about how Casualty is organised and then showed us around the set. We then had lunch and watched the filming backstage.

We were introduced to the filming Director, Lloyd, as well as seeing the costume department and theatrical make-up, along with the editing suite.

Later that day we were each given a t-shirt and hat, as well as signed photos of the cast.

It was when escorted to the location that we really got to experience the atmosphere of filming.

Overall, the experience was worthwhile and we all have a clearer idea of what we would enjoy in the future, maybe as a career.
