Two silver D of E teams completed their assessed expedition this weekend. The groups headed to the Gower Peninsula in South Wales to complete their three day camping trip. The routes were long and challenging, taking in sections of the coastal path and moorland further inland.
The group stayed at a Camp Le Breos for the first night then journeyed west to Llangennith for the second. The weather was good for the first two days but increasing winds and horizontal rain set in on the Sunday evening.
The students coped well with the difficult conditions but were very glad to complete their routes and climb into a warm minibus for the drive home.
Staff were particularly impressed with the Y10 team who displayed excellent teamwork throughout.
Thanks go to Miss De Zarate, Mr Vittle and Mr Harper who accompanied the teams.
