Drama Club Production of The Canterbury Tales
The Drama Club’s Production of The Canterbury Tales will show on the 26th and the 27th of June in the Harry Crook Theatre at 7.30 p.m. There are a few tickets left for sale and can be purchased in the Bishop's palace at breaks.
During the spring and summer terms the Drama Club students have been developing their performance skills. They have been working on devising techniques, improvisation and have spent a lot of time focusing on improving their ability to work with others.
The Canterbury Tales are a collection of comical, and yet educational, stories written by Geoffrey Chaucer, they revolve around the adventures of the characters learning specific lessons. Such as the Wife of Bath’s Tale where the characters (and hopefully the audience) learn that image isn’t everything, and that you can’t judge a book by its cover.
