Middle School Play – Christmas 2006
This year’s Middle School play promises to be as spectacular as previous years, with a performance of “The Seven Poor Travellers”, directed by Mrs. Bicknell.

Today, Wednesday 29th November, pupils from years seven to nine have been busy during their final dress rehearsal. Directed by Mrs. Bicknell, the play “The Seven Poor Travellers” is the story of paupers in an alms-house, who are visited by a mysterious stranger. After entertaining this stranger, they are greeted on Christmas morning with a huge feast!

Adapted from Charles Dickens’ Christmas Stories, the play takes it inspiration from the engraved window in the Chatterton Hall, “Entertain strangers, for you may be entertaining angels.”
The play is being performed on Thursday 30th November and Friday 1st December at 7.30pm in the Harry Crook Theatre. Tickets are £6/£4 and can be purchased in Bishop’s Palace or on the door.
