Emma Jones and Francesca Dark met intense competition at the Stonar Inter-Schools Senior One Day Event.
Fran put on an impressive performance with her own Secret Star. They managed to produce a dressage score of 33.5 which left her in 3rd place, with two fences down over the technical show jumping course and then completing a well-executed clear cross country round. Fran completed on a score of 41.1 leaving her in 11th place overall. An excellent result for Fran’s debut performance representing Colston’s!
Unfortunately it was not to be Emma’s day and King Alfred Moon pulled up in the Show Jumping after sustaining an injury in the warm up. They did however manage to produce a good dressage test before retiring from the competition. We hope to see him fit and well again shortly.
