‘Get Your Own Back’ on Thursday19th June

‘Get your own back’ was a charity idea thought up by pupils in Roundway House Year 7 tutor group. All the pupils designed posters to be displayed round the school and Miss Wyatt, Mrs Parry and Mr Warren assisted the event by making ‘Big Betty’ our life size woman in a bikini. (See pictures).

For £1 pupils could have 3 goes at throwing wet sponges at a teacher of their choice!

Mr Shooter, Mr Fraser, Miss De Zarate and Mr Burley were particular favorites of the pupils, along with Mrs Vaughan, Mr Masters, Mr Banning, Miss Drake and Miss Young. A lot of throws went astray, but Ben Charlton-Hibbert threw the best throw, hitting Mr Fraser smack on his nose.

Along side ‘Get your Own back’, Tom Howell-Bowley, Joe Wong and Chris sold ice lollies over three days!
