Key Stage One visit to Blaise Castle

The Key Stage 1 children very much enjoyed their visit to Blaise Castle last week.

Whilst there they looked at a number of everyday Victorian objects and Charlie even enjoyed doing the ironing!

The children also went back in time to play with a variety of Victorian toys and followed a nature trail which culminated in the storming of Blaise Castle. From their vantage point they then enjoyed the fantastic views over Bristol.

It was a great starting point to their topic for this term - The Victorians.
