With parents already thinking about school entrance next September, the coming weeks provide important opportunities for prospective parents to see us at work, and for children to be assessed.
The format for Open Mornings at Colston’s Lower School is very popular, and on Friday, January 20th, we will again arrange for Year 6 pupils to act as guides.
Lessons will go on as normal, with visitors welcomed into classrooms to see the children at work.
This format also has the benefit of enabling parents to ask pupils what they really think of the school without teachers getting in the way! The boys and girls always talk freely and confidently about their experience at Colston’s Lower School.
At the end of these tours I look forward to meeting all visitors over coffee to talk about the school and answer any questions.
Our Open Morning is a good opportunity for you to find out about the school before our Entrance Assessments on Saturday, January 28th when children aged 7+, 8+, 9+ and 10+ are assessed for entry into Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 in September.
Places in Nursery and Reception are offered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Please contact us on 0117 965 5297 if you need any further information about Open Morning or would like to book your child in for our Entrance Assessments.
I look forward to welcoming you to the school.
