Puzzle Day

  Puzzle Day

Puzzle day was really good fun. I thought that it would just be a day, where you did lots of puzzles but clearly I had another think coming! First we went in the Science lab where, together with a member of one of the Reception classes, we made bridges, and saw how much weight each one could hold.

After that we went to the Art room and still with our Reception pupil we created a picture made out of squares and coloured it in using lots of bright colours.

Last of all we went into the hall and did some hard mind bending puzzles. They were tough but my team and I got through the challenges!

Thanks to Miss Hawkings and the staff as a whole, everybody had a great day!

Puzzle day was amazing; there were so many different activities to choose from. My first activity was in the DT hut with Mrs Fitzpatrick where we each partnered a Reception child. We made bridges and saw how much weight they could hold. It was my favourite activity because the Reception children all had incredible ideas.

I loved it when we went into the hall and did loads of puzzles. I learnt so many things like: I should never give up, even if one way doesn’t work it doesn’t mean another way won’t and there is always an answer.
