Lower School Tercentenary Party
On Thursday 10th June we had a party in the Lower School to celebrate our 300th birthday!
Here are some pictures and comments that give a flavour of the occasion.
“It’s quite cool that the school is still up and alive after 300 years, it’s thanks to Edward Colston.”
Matilda Sears–Rowe
“Everyone enjoys a party and 300 years old is a good reason to celebrate!”
Genevieve Fredericks
“Quite amazing, the school has been around so long and it’s still in such good condition. Mr Watts is the only teacher who has been here since the start.”
Matthew Plenty and Joseph Watkins
“It’s kind of old, older than anyone here.”
Taran Darvay
“After 100 years the school could be haunted but the ghosts only come out at night.”
Jake Hood
“These sandwiches are lovely!”
Henry Williams
“I like having a party with all my friends.”
Yolanda Munyira
“It’s when the school was finished being made.”
Elliott Smith
“It’s the day the school started more than 200 years ago, possibly 236 years ago.”
Holli Johal and Grace Clark
“We’re having a party today because it’s Party Day.”
Olivia Iles
“The best thing about today is doing things you don’t usually do.”
Ethan Alker
“I wonder what they’ll give us for the 500th anniversary.”
Zara Long
