Once again, a group of pupils at Colston’s School has celebrated an outstanding set of results in their GCSE mathematics examination, seven months ahead of the June examination season.
Pupils in the Year 11 top set took the exam in November and recently received their results. The impressive achievement of 12 A* and 15 A grades was a testament to their hard work. The momentum gained enables pupils to have the opportunity to follow a further mathematics course, the OCR Additional Mathematics Unit a freestanding qualification that can be added to the UCAS application forms. There was a lot of hard work, but it was worth it.
This is what some of the pupils had to say:
"Glad it’s over"
"Now we are doing the extra qualification, GCSE is easy!"
"It’s nice to have one less exam in the summer"
“That was a deliberate mistake – well done class for spotting it. I was testing you” ---------- cheeky class!"
"We couldn’t have done it without Mrs Johnson"
