On Tuesday morning Colston’s were delighted to welcome the pupils joining year 7 in September. Whilst here, they had the chance to meet people within their houses, as well as get a flavour of a variety of lessons. They may have been a little nervous at first, but by break time they were keen to share details of what they had been doing with staff and their new friends.
After a morning of drama, sport, science, art and languages the pupils tucked into lunch, before the Headmaster, Mr Fraser, spoke to them about the importance of supporting each other through their transition into secondary school.
Feedback from the pupils was extremely positive and they (hopefully) left feeling excited and eager to join permanently at the end of August.
