The four changing rooms have undergone extensive work in a project that has cost nearly £450,000 pounds.

Peter Fraser: “I am delighted that Olly has accepted my invitation to formally open these changing rooms. This wonderful facility will be a big boost to current pupils and Old Colstonians as well as benefiting parents and visitors. I am particularly pleased that Olly is coming along as he regularly keeps in touch with the school and we have worked with him in promoting his Rugby Academy. I am sure he will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of this facility.”

Facilities Manager, Alan Meakin: “Not only have we refurbished the changing rooms that were formerly known as the Vaults, Arches and Old Colstonian changing rooms to a very high standard but we have ensured that they all have disabled access and meet the very latest fire regulations. The changing area now has individual shower pods and the overall facilities have been improved by providing extra toilets which can also can be accessed by spectators, visitors and Old Colstonian Club members without entering the changing rooms.”

“Peter Fraser added “Once again we have worked very closely with the Old Colstonian Society to provide the very best facilities for Colston’s School and the Old Colstonians. I am very appreciative of the generous support of the Old Colstonian Society who have part funded this development.

The official opening will take place at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday 4th February. Following the opening the Old Colstonian Rugby Club 1st XV has a Gloucestershire Premier League fixture against Tewkesbury.
