Old Colstonian Kevin Davis gains rugby blue for Oxford University in Varsity Match

Kevin Davis in England U18 kit when at Colston's
Congratulations to Kevin Davis who today gained a "blue" in playing for Oxford University against Cambridge University at Twickenham. Kevin came off the bench to play the second half in a keenly contested match which Oxford lost 16-22.
Loose head prop Kevin gained England U16 and U18 caps when at Colston's and subsequently represented England U19. He represented England Students regularly when he was a student studying at Loughborough University where he gained a
BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Science. Kevin has also played for Leicester Tigers. He is now studying for an MSc in Science & Medicine of Athletic Performance at Linacre College, Oxford.
The Colston's 1st XV of 2003/04 was a tremendously talented side: 17 boys gained international honours that year - (see photos from the web pages of that year) and a good number have gone on to play rugby professionally and at international level.
Kevin is the third Colstonian to gain a blue in modern times. Andy Thomas, father of Year 11 George Thomas, and Andrew Joyce also gained blues for Oxford.
