Mr Nichols led 37 members of Roundway House and 3 staff to Alton Towers as part of the idea of encouraging and developing the positive spirit within the House. 

Blessed by a warm and sunny day, after a brief stop for breakfast, everyone emerged at the theme park excited by the prospect of trialling some of the UK’s leading white-knuckle rides. 

The staff (Mr. Yaxley, Ms De Zarate, Ms Goddard and Mr Nichols) were not to be left out and experienced the thrills of Air, Thirteen and Rita Queen of Speed to name but a few. 

Everyone had a really great day out and we are already looking forward to the next Roundway House event of paintballing on Sunday 9th October!  Thanks to all of the staff and pupils for making this inaugural event such a great success.
