Colston's boys' and girls' teams shine at the National 7s


The boys' and the girls' teams maintained the fine reputation that Colston's has in this form of the game by performing well at the National Schools' Sevens at Rosslyn Park this week.

The girls' team reached the final for the third successive year where they were defeated bya powerful Neath Port Talbot College. With the competition growing in strength, this was another fantastic performance.

In what is billed as the world's largest rugby tournament the boys' team reached the semi-final where they lost a cliff hanger to Kirkham Grammar in the dying seconds.

The boys' squad has reached two semi finals and two finals in four of the biggest competitions this year but were disappointed not to have another crack at Millfield in the final of this prestigious tournament.
