On Thursday 5th May the rugby and hockey tour party to South Africa spent 90 minutes running up and down the Roundway Tower in order to raise money for their trip.

Each tourist ran up the Roundway Tower 44 times to replicate climbing Table Mountain in Cape Town, that is approximately 44 times taller than the Roundway Tower.

Each player raised a minimum of £30 with some raising for more than that in order to pay for their tour of Cape Town which will include, trips to Newlands Stadium, a tour of old Cape Town and an excursion up the mountain.

All players worked really hard and we hope to raise a minimum of £1500, I would like to thank Miss Drake for her military oraganisation as well as the marshalls around the course.
