Colston's own weather station goes Live!

The Parents' Society have kindly provided funds to purchase a remote automatic weather station to be used by the Senior and Lower Schools.  At the start of the summer term the weather station was installed on the roof of the teaching block.

The weather station continually records weather data which will be used in the study of Weather in geography and by other departments interested in data logging.  Up to date weather is also be available on the school web site - including a weather forecast!

The weather station provides current weather information and is updated every 5 minutes on the school intranet, and details of the weather data for the last week, month and year can also be accessed.
