Year 7 Activity Days

Following the school examinations Year 7 pupils had a brilliant time at Drayton Manor and Mill on the Brue. We rode vertigo-inducing rides at Drayton Manor, including Apocalypse and G-Force and everyone got very wet on

the water rides! One high-profile member of Thursday's party was rather ill after the Black Revolver ride - clearly it is not a ride for the faint-hearted or weak stomached! Miss Young also made friends with the parrots in the zoo, engaging in a prolonged conversation consisting solely of the word 'Hello'!

At Mill on the Brue, Ibriz, Myles and James, amongst others, managed to land in the murky water underneath the rope swing; Doctor Tovey got her bottom stuck in the tyre squeezer on the assault course and vowed to eat less chocolate and Rob, James and Ches managed to overcome their fear of heights and walked along a log perched high in the sky - whilst safely harnessed, of course - cheered on by the rest of the group. Olly even managed to do star jumps on it!

We had so much fun, we want to repeat the visits next year!
