This morning the pupils who will be joining year seven at Colston's in September joined us for a morning of activities and lessons. Many pupils were a little nervous at first, but by breaktime there were smiles all round and they certainly had plenty to talk about, from the experiments undertaken in the Science labs to the zany activities devised in the theatre by Mrs Chisnall and Mr Pritchard. They had also had an opportunity to learn some German and Spanish and to get active on the sports pitches.

The main objective of the day was for pupils to get to know their future classmates and some of the staff and Mr. Fraser spoke to the group about the importance of looking after each other when they arrive in September, and many of those who listened carefully and could answer the Headmaster's questions went away with a chocolate bar.

In all, this was a successful morning and we look forward to welcoming the children back on Friday 31st August, just before the start of the Autumn term, at 2pm.
