Pupils put final touches to their ‘Headmaster’s Presentation’ for Open Morning

Staff and pupils at Colston’s School are putting the final touches to the annual Headmaster’s Presentation for parents and prospective parents who visit the school for Open Morning on Saturday.

More than 60 pupils from the Upper and Lower Schools will take part in the presentation which takes place in the Harry Crook Theatre.

Two performances have been arranged at 10.10am and 11.30am to try to cater for all visitors.

Headmaster Peter Fraser said: “Visitors rightly describe the pupils as being a credit to their school.

“I’m looking forward to telling our audiences on Saturday that Colston’s pupils are polite and welcoming, self-assured and proud to be members of the school.

“That is why they are the best people to tell parents why they should send their sons and daughters to Colston’s, and why we build the Headmaster’s Presentation around them.”

The Colston’s Swing Band will be performing from 9.30am on Saturday, and apart from presentations visitors will see a range of other activities in the theatre, sports hall, Chatterton Concert Hall, squash courts, fitness suite and outdoors.

The school will be open from 10.00 am until 1.00 p.m.
