HOLIIDAY ACTIVITIES

School Ski Trip

On Sunday 16th April 2006, 71 pupils and 7 staff departed for a winter sports holiday in Les Menuires in the Three Valleys in France. The pupils were divided into 6 ski groups and 1 snowboard group and received 4 hours instruction per day from the French Ski School. In addition, extra skiing was offered by the suitably qualified school staff during the lunch break. The standard of skiing (and boarding) was exceptionally high and drew praise from the instructors at the awards ceremony at the end of the week. In addition to the medals presented by the ski school, the groups also voted for their own awards within each ski group. List of awards

The pupils were also kept busy with a full après-ski program which included the following activities:

Swimming, Bumboarding, Quiz evening, Indoor games and a very popular Casino night.

The week was concluded with a meal out at a local restaurant on the final evening before the long journey home.

Throughout the week the behaviour of the pupils was excellent and we received compliments from many people during the week.
